Rescued Wren

An early start to make the most of a glorious day.
All the shepherd's hut windows and doors are now undercoated, the curved barge boards and soffits painted and glossed. Annoyingly the shockingly expensive one coat 15 year gloss that said 4 hours to touch dry, 6 hours to hard dry is still soft and sticky after nearly 8. Hopefully it will be a dry night in the North.

Also now have a new favourite tool (accessory) - some tiny diamond tipped cutting wheels for my dremel. I was v pleased to shave 3 millimeters (1/12 of an inch for USA readers lol) off the new tiling around the existing sockets... New sockets now fit perfectly in the kitchen.
Also in the kitchen; turned the lovely piece of wood left over from where the shaped worktop was cut into an oversize chopping board - ideal for the amount of mess I usually create lol.

Just as we were packing up Mrs IttH came to find me with a clearly excited Missy... The lovely little Wren in the picture had gotten into our lovely new kitchen from Wren... Rescued and released into the blackcurrant hedge at the bottom of the garden :-)
