A long walk

We cut recommended walks out of a quarterly magazine delievered through our door, and always thought this walk near Tring looked rather good.  So today we set off.  Quite long, but a delight. These blips sum it up:
- Past fields of corn and barley
- Donkeys
- Fields full of wild flowers - two blips
- Cows across the valley
- Looking across the hills towards Dunstable
- Grand Union Canal - there was a guy on the towpath looking at kingfisher nests

A walk to be repeated I think.  There was a very good pub halfway along at Wiggington - the Greyhound - so there is the opportunity for rest and sustenance along the way!

Remarkable that we had two canal walks in one week.
