Glen Roy

We haven't walked here in ages. I suppose it is quite a long drive to get to the end of the public road at Braeroy before the walk starts. It feels remote and much less visited than other beauty spots.
Up this glen there are a couple of Corbetts, a good Mountain Bothy and further on, beyond the water shed Loch Spey, the very start of of the fastest flowing river in Scotland. On the opposite side of the valley burns tumble down from the big Loch Laggan mountains and one of them has a natural bridge. The lower of the Parallel roads, which actually contour around this glen for miles are only a few metres higher than the walker by this point.
