The open door

I live opposite a church which has a big congregation- I’m not sure what they do as I don’t attend myself but they are very popular! Since lockdown it’s all been very quiet, no cars filling up the road on a Sunday morning. Today I saw that there were quite a few cars outside and when I passed the church on my way for a walk saw there was a lot of activity. No singing I presume but people seemed very happy to see each other after a long absence. Normality is slowly returning ... for a while at least!
