Powering Hairdryers

It was bright but biting cold at Whitelees wind farm, near Eaglesham, south of Glasgow. May be still the biggest land-based one in UK.Europe even? Their map showed 140 turbines.
Sadly the good, interactive, informative visitor centre is closed until 1st March (the cafe and staff are great but I haven't had a really hot coffee yet, and anything you expect fried seems to be microwaved). So I didn't get a nice warm place with great viewing windows to sit and have a lukewarm coffee. Used my Nikon P100 for this after my D5100's battery packed in. Hand-held a cross-polariser in front to bring out cloud and sky.
