Two goddesses: It's in the genes

Cheating a bit today. Joe, being a pro photographer in a former incarnation, has a very posh camera, no I can't remember what it is but it's a sony, possibly an A7, and weighs a ton - which he uses now and then but like many of us, for convenience, mainly uses his phone. Well now and again he downloads his images and today was the day and these are two I especially loved. Taken a good couple of months ago when the weather was hot, Esme's legs and hair were a lot shorter, teddies were displayed for covid, the gate was unrestored and the handsome Cougar was still with us. There's a certain similarity between these two mischief makers.

Other excitements - we had an early morning whatsapp with Will who was just descending Glastonbury Tor, as you do - it had all been going on with a full Hare Krishna ceremony in evidence. He had been given cashews which had been blessed. It was 9.30 with him and still light.

And as we did our big walk today, came across 4 kea in a tree. Madly exciting as they are usually to be found down south eating the windscreen wipers on unsuspecting tourists' cars! Do listen to the very weird sounds they make!
