Plus ça change...

Agapanthus

I bought this agapanthus last year. The woman who runs the garden centre was selling cheap as she’d lost the label and didn’t know what colour it was (like I cared).

Some much needed garden watering this morning (it’s so hot that some things needed an evening watering too) then a rubbish hair cut for MrB, including a light trim of his earlobe, which left us both a bit rattled.

Normally my work is a mix of processing agreements (dull but careful) and proper hard thinking. At the moment it seems to be nearly all the hard thinking type - necessitating lots of trips to the kitchen for tea. Happily there are lots of video chats on LinkedIn from other lawyers who don’t have a clue what to do either! Makes things much less lonely.

Meanwhile, Mr B and CarbBoy were building a shower. And CarbBoy learned the hard way why I bang on so much about checking the contents before starting out on self-assembly projects. (So I have requested the missing screws from the seller, while Mr B and TallGirl scoured DIY shops for them.)

Mask wearing now compulsory here in enclosed spaces. We do anyway, so no change.

And TallGirl had the delightful news that because of the delay to the Irish results, she’ll probably already be at her UK uni by the time she knows if she has an offer from Ireland! Crazy world.
