Red Admiral

It has been a bit too windy through in Elie for butterflies but this morning conditions were more benign and I spotted this Red Admiral having a well deserved rest on the wall.  I don't usually use my phone for photos but that was all I had with me at the time.

After my brief walk round Chapel Green I loaded up the car and headed back to Glasgow for a few days of much needed gardening. The ground here is hard as a rock unlike the Elie soil which is totally clay free and is always easy to hoe and dig.
