Crocosmia

Bordering the grass in front of Pollok House are swathes of orange Crocosmia ...... the plant has certainly colonised that area.
I squelched across the grass in the search of a raindrop or two.
The weather this morning and into the early afternoon was very, very wet but suitably clad I set off for a walk.

Two of the three car parks in Pollok are now open but not too many cars in the riverside car park today. The car park in front of the National Trust Pollok House is still closed while the house remains closed. The main car park was busy but I think most of the cars belonged to the workmen responsible for the external repairs and work on the interior of the Burrell Collection.
