Family time ....

A is up for a visit - 2 nights.

We had a lovely time chatting and watching old family videos which T had digitised last night (and eating lemon drizzle cake).

Weather has been pretty miserable today but it has been fun chatting (and eating more lemon drizzle cake).

I took advantage of a break in the rain to go for a walk to the Cuilc where I enjoyed watching Moorhens and her chicks ( who were small enough to run over the algae), the ducks and their ducklings and of course the swans and their cygnets, now quite big. 

T is making fajitas for tea and afterwards we plan to watch Hamilton (a favourite of hers). I quite enjoyed it the first time I watched but wasn't blown away by it - look forward to hearing her views on different aspects. 

A will head back tomorrow (with the rest of the lemon drizzle cake).
