The Umber.

Went walkabout along the Nadder today. Lots to see, came across this Grayling. When i saw it, remembered reading Issac Walton`s  book The Compleat Angler. He wrote in about 1676 that he used to see the fish in the Nadder at the bottom of his mates house, George Herbert , the local vicar.
Walton did not think much of the grayling or umber as he called them.344 years on i`m delighted to say they are still about at the bottom of the garden, in the Nadder.
