Super Sixteen

Sixteenth birthday for our sweet boy, D. As W. carried the cake to him, Marti (wearing the "Kansas: It's Not That Bad" t-shirt from the family's years in Manhattan, The Little Apple) was setting up FaceTime so Ellie & Harry could watch from next door. D. is just to the right of the picture; he's really cute with his dark curly hair but photo averse these days. 

Spent the afternoon with Harry and Ellie. Harry was so excited about D.'s birthday. He used all his breath to sing him a little ditty, one that he made up and has always sung to D. 

The other news of the day: W. got his hair cut for the first time since late February. We hardly knew him. :-)
