Japanese Anemone

A much better day ......no sunshine but really quite warm. I even managed to do some of my patchwork while waiting for a delivery from John Lewis.

Later in the afternoon the gardening boys arrived ..... they can do in an hour what would take me at least a day. The extra shot is just to show sis that she doesn't need to come and help me prune the ornamental pear tree. I used to climb onto the shed roof with the loppers and L gave me directions .... today Ryan was entrusted with the mammoth task.

I have these anemones growing in both the back and front gardens. I prefer these darker pink ones which are growing just outside my front door.
