Lathyrus Odoratus

Wisteria

I had planned to go and search for Silver-studded skippers on the Downs today but it was too windy. Walked the spaniel down by the river instead and was lucky enough to get more sightings - but still no photographs - of the kingfisher. So instead my blip today is of the wisteria, seen through the trellis. It flowers very profusely in the spring  but I don't recall it having a summer flowering in previous years.
