a hummingbird

i had to pick up - bird seed at a local - shop and they happened - to have hanging a variety - of feeders which is quite - normal for them - throughout the year - and i was pleasantly - surprised to see this time - included were several hummingbird - feeders and that they - were being visited - by a multitude of - birds so after - making my purchase - i grabbed my camera - and quietly stalked the - feeders hoping against hope - i might capture a quick shot

i never imagined - to get one against - our gorgeous blue - clouded sky let - alone be fortunate - enough to have it - turn out in focus - talk about...
