Airfield Walk

A pleasant evening stroll with a friend at the airfield and as we walked I heard tales of gliding club antics from yesteryear. I noticed old car tyres in the hedgerow, which were used to weigh down the wings of the vintage wooden gliders between flights.

The wildflowers were bountiful in their purple hues and the cloudscape was dramatic. Lots of lenticular clouds and plenty of wave.

It was a pleasant late evening walk after a busy day at my desk.
