Just a hat?

11 years ago today I graduated from the RAF College Cranwell and wore this hat. Since then I have got married wearing it, buried collegues wearing it, and paraded in front of some very important people wearing it. It now rests on my desk to remind me of some amazing people that I met, led, worked with, and worked for during those 10 years. Now, having left almost a year ago, I still hear of the amazing selfless work these individuals are achieving, usually under adverse conditions. Some of you are not acutely aware of it, but the difference you all make is real.
