Just one bloom...

... in the field, on our way home from a long local walk.

A little earlier, down by the River Nidd, I was photographing swirling patterns in the flowing water (as one does) when there was movement in the bushes close by. 

Today's extra, reveals the only shot I managed to get of the kingfisher that visited for less than a minute. You win some...
