Exploring!

A road trip north today exploring the next peninsular and up to the Crinan Canal. It’s been largely overcast but dry and reasonably warm so not too unpleasant. It has just started raining so luckily we’re in for the night and it looks like it should rain itself out by lunchtime tomorrow.

My Flower Friday blip had to be a Scottish thistle, these ones found at our first detour and stop of the day, Ardpatrick looking over West Loch Tarbert. The standing stone on the right was the reason for the detour. Lots of standing stones and sculptured stones around these parts...love seeing the old cemeteries too!

A day of rest tomorrow...may even have my breakfast in bed since it’s a packed one! Heading to Dunoon on Sunday.

Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
