Typical for this time of year had a very busy drive up to mum and dads this afternoon passing at least five cars broken down on the hard shoulder, including one on fire on the opposite carriageway being dealt with by the fire service. Good old waze had us diverting first through Guildford and then to Esher going through places I’d never been through before, before we arrived at Bushy Park. Didn’t have far to go to see the deer they were already in the car park to meet us. Thought we were going to get the group of them wading in the stream but not interested at this point so we headed off on a much needed wander after the journey we’d had. Saw the cygnets, more coot chicks from our last visit, dragonflies ovipositing, damsels in tandem and then spotted a red deer stag and hind (in extras) pausing on the side of the pond and we stood there thinking will they won’t they and then they were in.
