Angle Tarn Hike

Today was a busy day. We firstly drove to Patterdale and then hiked up to Angle Tarn. There were 7 geocaches that could be found once you had hiked the 3km and ascended 490m. It included once cache on the island in the photo so this also meant a short swim in the tarn was needed. I  certainly didn't get time to enjoy this place when I was orienteering here 2 years ago. We then hiked back down

I then stayed in Patterdale as I was meeting up with a friend. I did a 45km cycle and then a 10 min swim in Ullswater. I had definitely earned my supper which was a pub meal catching up with B
