wild & precious life

Returned to Fowey because we loved this place so much last year!

We just managed to catch the quaint little bookshop and buy some more Daphne Du Maurier books before it shut for the day at lunchtime. (extra shows her cream & blue house!)

It was raining so much at lunchtime that we had to order lunch inside a pub this time. This felt very strange during Covid-19 times and after lockdown. It was also uplifting however to see a pub back to its usual hustle and bustle! We were tucked in a corner with our dogs out of the way and had our own little open window, which was reassuring. The food at the pink 'King of Prussia' was AMAZING! (2nd extra)

I don't think hubby is at all bothered that he has to sit on benches with his book to let Caesar rest and not walk him too much!!!

The little town was very, very busy and whilst shops are doing really well to keep people at a distance, it's a different story on the narrow little streets and alleys!
