Matariki 2020

Spikes2013 and I headed to the lake to photograph the Matariki fireworks.  I set my camera on 'fireworks' and hoped for the best.  I like this photo the best.  The extras missed the cut.  Afterwards we went to a local cafe for a hot chocolate and a piece of Carrot Cake!

Otherwise I had a busy day, starting with breakfast with the church ladies, then a leisurely walk around town.  After lunch I walked to the lake and back, thus clocking up 10K steps.  Amazingly enough the temperature is +10C, so not at all cold.
