Bath Time

Recently we have noticed our bird bath has become very popular with a local family of blackbirds. Their comings and goings suggest they have a nest in next door's garden, and our garden has become their en-suite.
This cheeky looking male blackbird was having a good splash around this morning and I managed to get my camera before he finished.

-  Two young birds were sunning themselves later on. Apparently they often sit in the sun and do this.
