The Sauce of the Nile

This jigsaw will be familiar to a few Blippers, as it is a typical Colin Thompson picture for Ravensburger. The Bizarre Bookshop 2 is a complex picture brim full of little details and jokes. A tricky jigsaw but great fun. I have made this before and will return to it another time. 

Besides being a well-known puzzle artist, Colin Thompson, an English-Australian, is also a writer and illustrator of children's books. I have one of his books and must dig it out. I had not realised that he had created 70 books though. What an incredible imagination he has. What wonderful, bizarre worlds he conjures up.
