Litter Picker

I organise the residents' association litter pick rota for our road. There are five of us so we only have to do it once every five weeks. I need to start again now things have eased. Our two roads yield very little but the local field is another matter. My hsband comes round with me on the road and is  even fiercer about it than me, Having found a handy stick he was able to remove this tin and put it in the bin as well as two other large pieces. The residents association is also  very good thanks to one very public spirited lady who keeps us all informed by email so we learn to look out for lost cats, who has bunk beds to get rid of and requests for the loan of a wheel chair etc. We have a tradesman list and a garden group and an arts and crafts show, In lockdown requests for fabric for scrubs etc were answered and a volunteers list compiled. We are one of the three areas in in Kent with no cases. We are quite a diverse neighbourhood and try to look after each other.
