First sunflower

A day mostly at home. I went for a morning run and was going to post the photo I took of a nest of cows and calves I passed in the park. But then, gardening before the rain arrived, I spotted my first sunflower has opened so here you go. Sunflower, this one’s for you. There are lots more to come, and for once, courtesy of lockdown I’ve got them planted out around the garden instead of stuck in a row in the salad plot!
