a Scots life

Water lily

It didn’t do much last year, so I’m very glad to see this bloom. A lovely day, weather-wise.
We had a good walk up Largo Road, over Scooniehill, past Allanhill where we used to pick-your-own then have a strawberry tea. All their crop goes to supermarkets now, the wooden cafe & deck has been replaced by piles of pallets. The view is still good at least, see extra. From this angle the victorians would recognise St Andrews, all the building of the last century is hidden.
