Sunrise

This isn't a perfect photo, it has no style, you probably don't find it that eye catching. However, it means a lot to me.

For example the building on the left with the pink hue, often looks this radiant, like a beacon when the rising sun has a clear run on its daily journey. To the right of this building you'll see a radio transmitter, like the movie company RKO that once was one of the top five studios of Hollywood's Golden Age.

This transmitter does indeed look golden at night. You see, when the sun sets, it sets right behind the transmitter, as if it's the star guest on the horizon's stage, all aglow in its evening glory.

Of all things, I love this view because it makes you feel as if you're on top of the world because you see the horizon. I imagine most of us desire space: space to breathe, space to live, space to feel free and dream.

Having a view like this makes up for everything because it allows you to do something amazing: imagine.

And when you look forward to imagining, you can't wait to get out of bed.

Time to put the kettle on.
