Serendipity

Was doing the ironing this morning, when I glanced out of the window and saw this hen Blackbird and a Wren sitting on the fence looking as if they had met up for a gossip.  They stayed there long enough for me to grab the camera and capture the meeting.  It is a shame that a leaf is obscuring the blackbird's face, but I couldn't resist the shot, something that may not happen again.
I have included a Red Admiral butterfly on the buddleia as an extra.
