Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Brick

An old brick found in the beck. Farnley Iron Company of Leeds were manufacturers of bricks from Victorian times into the twentieth century.

I headed out for a longer walk on some of the footpaths beyond Hawksworth. Sunny spells were limited, which meant little butterfly activity, but I had a good encounter with a couple of Buzzard and with the dragonflies I saw my first Common Darter of the year and another Brown Hawker.

And that concludes my week off.
