Swimming Pool open

My first glimpse of the swimming pool for four months. My health club has reopened with booking for everything. The systems in place seem very safety conscious. A temperature gun at the entrance and lots of one way systems including exiting the pool building via the fire escape! For the 25m pool there are one hour sessions with a maximum of 15 people, 3 lanes each with 5 people and notices to say stay 5 m apart and no butterfly stroke. There is a poolside shower which can be used before and after swimming and the changing rooms and some lockers are available for use. Fortunately the changing rooms are very spacious unlike at many smaller pools or in hotels where I have heard you have to go home in your wet swimsuit! I also went to a Pilates class which was in a bigger room and 15 instead of 25.
Enjoyed swimming again and I was interested to see that most of the people in my session only spent about 20 minutes in the pool!

- went to a garden centre to spend a voucher that was due to run out at end of July. Bought compost and some new secateurs as didn’t really need any plants
- did some admin for local TeddingtonSociety. Reminders to those who have still not paid their 2020 subscription!
- got out the christening gowns as nephews daughter will possibly eventually get christened before she is one year old in September! Sent them photos to see which one they want.
