Cabbage White in Flight

I never thought I would be so happy to see a dishwasher as I was today when the installer arrived.  We have been without a functioning machine (other than my husband :) since March.  At the beginning of the pandemic we didn't want to have any more people enter the house than necessary, and then, when we were ready to move forward with a replacement, the dishwasher we had chosen was out of stock.  Bottom line is the alternative was installed today and I'm saying good bye to my dish drying rack.  

I took this photo while I was hanging outside on the patio waiting for the work in the kitchen to be completed.  Fortunately it was in the morning before the  serious heat arrived.
