Extra: Flash Flood Why my blips are behind...On our Saturday outing we were caught on the wrong side of a flash flood...just like they warn about during the summer in the southwest.  If we tried to go forward, we risked being swept off the road into a muddy river.  If we turned around to head home the other way, we were looking at a 4 hour drive IF we could manage the drive on a 20 mile stretch of dirt road that was also probably flooding.  We waited and waited for the flooding to subside...
