Deraeocoris ruber

Today’s picture has been identified as a Deraeocoris ruber also known as a Mirid Bug. It was hidden in some stinging nettles in the wild area. Finding something different each day during lockdown is challenging, but once again I do not think I have ever blipped one of these before.

The temperature was eighteen degrees Celsius at GMT noon. Dull and overcast at times, but also some sunshine.
