My photo is taken looking northwards up Loch Lomond towards Ben Lomond, Scotland's most southerly Munro and a very popular hill for walkers, often the first mountain any of us have climbed.

It was a pleasant although windy day today, not too warm but pleasant enough.  We drove up the lochside and over the Rest and Be Thankful to Inveraray.  It was lovely to be up there for the first time in months.

We had lunch in Brambles in Inveraray.  I had a Scandi open sandwich, a wonderful concoction of home made bread topped with smoked salmon, prawns, avocado, green leaves, a tangy but light topping, and some balsalmic vinegar..... it was fab..... the HG is a man of simple tastes, and had a burger!!! Both of us were pleased with our choices.

My extra is looking back towards Inveraray from Loch Fyne, where we sat for a while enjoying the fresh air and the view.
