Fun on the river

L’s current favourite book is called “The Tower Bridge Cat”.

Today we surprised her with a ride on the Thames clipper from Greenwich to Tower Bridge. When she saw it from the front of the boat she was very excited... “There are the bascules, Mummy!”

We walked across the bridge (didn’t go inside today) and we really noticed how empty London is feeling.

It was a quick round trip, punctuated by a sandwich and some millionaires shortbread near City Hall.
