Safety Pins!

17°C  -  14 mph WNW Wind Speed  -  22 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy.  Lost for blipical inspiration today so I thought I’d google famous birthdays to see if anything hit a cord.  Well, not many people know this, but on this day in 1796 Walter Hunt was born  -  the inventor of the safety pin and the first commercially viable lockstitch sewing machine. A safety pin blip seemed in order! Thought I had dozens of safety pins tucked away in odd corners, but to my amazement I could only find these three!  What has happened to safety pins?  Velcro!
