Eureka!

I have found the source of the pandemic.
 
While walking under a simple horse chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum), I discovered the source of the coronavirus.
 
Just as Newton and his apple tree, I was conked (gettit – conked?) by a falling chestnut and immediately saw the light. Well, several lights, actually, it hurt.
 
Now I await the accolades from the entire world – Nobel prizes, honorary doctorates, a knighthood; I may even be made King.
 

Will someone please tell the President of the United States and my fame will be assured?
