A bit of history

This is the Pont de Sant Roc and the only remaining segment of the 14th century wall , which includes an entrance gate, surrounding, I presume the ancient city of Mao.

This was, I again presume, pre British and French occupation , after the Turks and maybe circa nobility of Aragon.

I’ll check tomorrow as it isn’t urgent.
