Smooth Sailing

The wild Shetland weather yesterday was indeed apparent on the overnight ferry - it was good to be lying down.  However by 05:30 it was sunny, and the seas were calm for the approach into Aberdeen.

The rest of the day was as uneventful as a 500 mile drive can be - with brief (masked and socially distanced) stops at the services at Stirling, Gretna, Charnock Richard and Warwick.  Certainly more traffic around than on the drive north earlier in the month - but nothing like as busy as a 'normal' July.
