Finding space and quiet

The village was thronging with visitors today, there have never been as many as this before. So we took the girls to somewhere quiet. As much space as they wanted, only sheep around, wonderful views, a splendid walk. Several blippers know exactly where we were, the clue is in the distance, but I am not telling.

The queues at the ice cream place on the way back were horrendous and not at all socially distanced, so we went home and had ice cream there.

Another full-on day, ending with a hilarious, noisy and enthusiastic game of Monopoly . . . to be continued

And evidence that the time I spend making books from old family photographs is worth it - see extra 2.
