Covid Pilot

Today was a good day - a lot better than yesterday.

Despite a long delay at the main base waiting for maintenance to be carried out on both aircraft, Garry and I managed to get airborne to finish the IR section of my Type Conversion. We did an NDB to 32 at Leeds followed by a couple of holds - using the autopilot obviously (who does holds without an AP these days?) - and then an ILS and the usual turns and climbs and unusual attitudes.

We also managed to get across to the LGI helipad to do some helipad arrivals there - very cool landing in the middle of Leeds. And to think two months ago I was doing arrivals to oil rigs!

Life sure has some twists and turns. Go with the flow. Hold the line, and steady as she goes.
