Mayfield

I’ve been wanting to visit the Mayfield Lavender fields for a while now. Had planned to go on my own but Becca expressed a wish to join me so off we went with the dog in tow. It was pretty busy but only seemed to get busier so we were glad we went early.

We followed it up with a 6 mile walk around Banstead Woods and then a pub lunch at the Rambler’s Rest which went well despite only booking a table en route after realising we wouldn’t be able to just turn up! Almost felt like a holiday being able to sit outside I the sun.
