Cane Beach British Virgin Islands

Morning on Sage mountain, rainforest national park and highest peak in the Virgin Islands.
Earlier our guide told us that the Colombian drug dealers used the island as their hideaway.
I had not gone far into this isolated high rainforest when I came across a house with warning signs and heavily guarded.

Who would build a hose in such an inaccessible spot? Asked guide in my return and he denied the existence of the house......I did not show him my photos of it.

Is this life imitating fiction? Did not Frederick Forsyth write a short story about a drug cartel on a Caribbean island ?
