Lilliput Lane's Honeysuckle Cottage

I got some new flash triggers in the mail yesterday, so I just had to try them out tonite...well one of them anyway. One of the tutorials I watched on off-camera flash stressed you should try to master one flash first, before adding others...so that is exactly what I did.

I also wanted to try some macro photography, so this image is a combination of the two efforts. The cottage is actually about 6" (152mm) across, and 4" (101mm) high.

Direct flash at 1/32 power was still way too strong, so I wound up having to bounce the flash onto the cottage using the pop-up card. It was a fun experiment, and I think I learned quite a bit in doing it.
