Wood on Wednesday...T is for Trout

These are the first two pieces of the 10 wooden shutters I bought last weekend.

I think I made a mistake on the first one by painting the fish vertically. I like the second one on top that is done horizontally. 

The worst part? Both the staining and painting between the slats.
