The Longest Beach in the World

We drove 5 hours to spend a few hours at Long Beach, WA - and it was worth the effort.  Seeing the ocean, the waves, smelling the salt air, and listening to the steady crush of water against the shore was so restorative. It was easy to maintain social distance, and most everyone we saw was wearing a mask. The shops there enforced mask wearing as far as I could see. Yay, to standing ankle-deep in the Pacific Ocean!!
