A visit to our local nature reserve which is sure to feature as a popular location for future walks during lockdown. Saw a few people on the way in but up at the nature ponds nobody. The number of damselflies are certainly into double figures with a number of them being azure damselflies mating and ovipositing (in extras). Always find them hard to identify from the Common Blue damsels but the Azure damsels apparently have a 'U' shaped marking below the base of the wings, which I believe these ones have.
