Black Velvet

I did an 8am start at Trentham this morning. It's an hour before the day trippers are allowed in. SO quiet. I spent much of the time hidden away in the floral labyrinth part of the gardens chasing insects.....

And met a good friend this evening for a walk along side Rudyard Lake. I hadn't seen her for months due to lockdown. It was good to catch up and share what we'd been dealing with over the last few months.
